Point Well Taken Bead Looming and Fiber Looming Bracelet Kit by Ann Benson. Fresh, clean colors are combined with bold turquoise disks and soft silk gold beads. For this project, use Ann's No-Finishing Bracelet loom, available on this site. Weave this 1 1/4" wide very basic tapestry bracelet to fit a wrist from 6" to 8" using cotton fibers, with 11o beaded points placed throughout. Turquoise howlite disks are anchored with 8o seed beads. The closure is the same, and the buttonhole is easily woven into the design. Using the no-finish loom, there is no end finishing required, just a smooth edge. This design is a good introduction to tapestry combined with beading, but the result is eye-catching and much more elegant than you'd expect for the ease of making it! The kit includes multiple colors of lightweight cotton fiber, 11o seed beads, 8o seed beads, turquoise howlite disks, nylon beading thread, warping thread, complete directions for weaving, stitching, sizing and minimal finishing. NOTE: This kit does NOT include needles; the inclusion of needles artificially raises the price of the kit, and if you do more than one project, you'll end up with many more needles than you need and will have paid for them over and over again. Purchase my weaving needle assortment separately, or, if you're an avid needleworker, you may have appropriate needles on hand (darning, tapestry and beading needles). This is reflected in the reasonable price of this kit.
